The people of Ugwunagbo local government area of Abia State in its entirety have declared their affinity and support for the member representing Ugwunagbo constituency in the State House of Assembly and the executive governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu in the 2019 elections.

Nwogu Nwanganga,made the declaration during the presentation of actualised
projects to the PDP tour team, recounting on the immense efforts of the House
member in ensuring a happy living of the people.
The Honourable member, Hon. Munachi Alozie in his ecstatic,expressed his profound gratitude to the people and assured them of more of his magnanimous acts in the future.
He pledged to use his office to ensure a sustainable human development, while calling on the people to show solidarity to the incumbent governor.
Presenting the water projects at Umuekpe, Umugo community, Umuomenihu and Mkpukpuevula communities, in Ugwunagbo, to the state's party chairman, Hon. Johnson Onuigbo, the council boss pointed out that the beneficiaries were active supporters of the present administration during and after the election, and as such got a deserving reward.
Hon. Nwanganga further thanked the governor for the schools erected in the area, as he used the forum to appeal to the people to massively vote for Governor Ikpeazu in the forthcoming election, reminding them of the need to obtain their PVC, saying it was the only thing that would facilitate the re-election of the governor to enable him deliver all what he has in store for the area.
He, however, pleaded with the government to appoint a member of the community as a Permanent Secretary in the state, as well as other governmental positions.
In his, speech, Hon. Chief Ngozi Ekeke, PDP chairman, ugwunagbo, described the party as a grassroot party, outlining the numerous projects so far, and assured the government of their relentless support for his government.
Commissioning the projects, the state party chairman, Sir Johnson Onuigbo, commended the council boss on his achievements in the area, noting that assisting the government in office as exhibited by him was the basis for their stay in office and urged him to keep the flag flying.
He thanked the people for the warm reception and applauded the youths of the area for a peaceful outing, calling on them to massively support the government in power.
