It could be recalled that the Jewish religious worshippers had since Friday's dusk reportedly stormed Umuahia in a bid to offer their first praises and prayers to Chukwu Okike Abiama, in line with the Jewish culture, at the home of home of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, their member whose whereabouts has remained unknown ever since military invasion, at Isiama Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia.

Morel Nwachukwu Chukwukadibia Yimyaho, the Morel of the synagogue, has this to say:

"After keeping our shabbat, we were preparing to leave this morning, two of our members went out to buy food but suddenly they were attacked, and collected their prayer materials. So, when they came back, we sent our elders to go and know what happened, when they got their, they arrested them too and carried them in their Hilux van to the station and then, we all decided to go and know why things are happening this way, they started shooting us with tear-gas, stabbed us with guns, a lot of us were badly wounded, some have broken legs, they hit us with the head of their guns, they start beating us, our blood is flowing. You can see this my brother here with blood all over his body, they struck him with the gun on the head and right now, he has blood all over, and even this little one year -old girl crying , they struck her by the leg and she has a broken leg now. They say they're going to call the army. Let them know that nobody enters into the hands of the Jewish people that comes out alive. They've started a war that they cannot finish and as they have touched us, BIAFRA has come", he wailed.

An eye witness, who spoke anonymously, also decried the activities of the Nigeria police force, describing it as gross weakness to humanity.
